1984, Brave New World and Animal Farm are three of the greatest works of literature ever written. How many of you have read all three? Or any of them?

:thumb:. And most of Tom Clancy's books as well. I worked where he based 'Red Storm Rising'. Reading...the greatest gift to man.

Does watching Logan's Run count? How about The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged?

There is no substitute for reading good literature. Much of the current generation is missing out on finding a good book and reading it every night. Watching reality TV and playing video games are a poor substitute.
I will be forever grateful that my parents limited my sister and I to one hour (maximum) of TV per day. God Bless all my English teachers for force feeding us good books.

Please point out where I mentioned reality TV or video games.
