The American Muslim Advisory Council in Tennessee and were speaking to about 2,000 in attendance. They were blowing smoke about things that just don't seem to be reality here in the States. They claimed to be an integral part of anti-terrorism investigations, which is a laugh. They claim they are "loyal" citizens, which is more laughable. They claim to be integral in preventing radicalization. Sure, pull my left testicle and it sings Jingle Bells!
Anyway, apparently the crowd started yelling "Taqiyya", which I don't recall ever hearing before. I know of one member who will deny, deny, deny and deny some more, but this crap is even supported by the Quran and Hadiths:
http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Quran/011-taqiyya.htm
(Taqiyyah doctrine obligates Muslims to deceive infidels as part the required effort or jihad to institute Islamic doctrine or shariah)
This paragraph says it all:
It is particularly telling that no other group in the United States has been the focus of such a degree of attention and outreach, although FBI religious hate crime statistics from 2009 indicate that Jews are more than eight times more likely to be victims of religious hate crimes than Muslims. Yet there is no special protection afforded to Jews, no events announcing the prosecution of individuals who post material offensive to Jews, nor outreach programs to the American Jewish community to better serve their interests. When it comes to Jews and Christians, offensive remarks and portrayals are permitted under the First Amendment.
Of course, this speaks a lot too:
It is truly remarkable that the mission of an entire government agency, NASA, was reconfigured from space exploration and aerospace technology to Muslim outreach by the Obama administration in 2009. At that time, Obama required NASA to reach out to Muslims and help them "feel good about their historic contributions to science, math, and engineering."
Recently, Obama announced that he was launching the Muslim Outreach Summit to elicit feedback from American Muslims on how the government can better serve them. It is unprecedented for any group in the U.S. to receive this level of special consideration.
Following the Benghazi attack, Obama went to the UN and announced, "The future does not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam" and that "Intolerance is a form of violence." He didn't reference the desecrations of images of Jesus Christ and churches or voice concern about Holocaust denial. He mentioned only the criticism of Islam as a cause for concern and a reason to curtail free speech rights. Let us not forget that in the "Audacity of Hope," Obama avowed, "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

Taqqiya is a shia concept, not Islamic. Lying is a sin in Islam. Also twisting and quoting hadiths and Qur'aan verses without understanding or context is the work of those who are against Islam.
These anti Islam websites which twist the truth are just like anti-semite or white supremacist websites. The worst the the human race can produce.

Sure, and denying that 75 million Muslims are Muslims is a perfect example of this lying. Shia IS Islam no matter how many times you try and lie about it because you don't care for them. Every country in the world outside of radical Sunni's acknowledge Iran as an Islamic country. Every leader and every religious leader, all referred to as Islamic. Shia attend all kinds of Islamic councils and gatherings. Only those with hate in their heart continue to claim they are not Muslims while the rest of the entire world knows otherwise.
In all my years, no matter the subject, doesn't matter if on the internet or real life, no matter how heated things can get, no matter what of anything at all - I have NEVER seen someone just deny things as much as you. Sure, some things can be explained, or explained better, and many things are off target - but ANYTHING making Muslims look bad is denied by you. It's actually comical at this point.

It's already been shown to you about 100 times that regardless of how often YOU claim Shia isn't Islam, you're a liar.

The Shia (Arabic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabic_language): شيعة, Shīʿah) represent the second largest denomination (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_schools_and_branches) of Islam (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam), accounting for 10-30% of the world's normative body of Muslims.

There are more Shia than that Jim.. http://www.pewforum.org/Muslim/Mapping-the-Global-Muslim-Population(6).aspxSunni and Shia Populationshttp://www.pewforum.org/uploadedImages/Topics/Religious_Affiliation/Muslim/thumb_shia.jpg (http://www.pewforum.org/Muslim/Mapping-the-Global-Muslim-Population%288%29.aspx)
An overwhelming majority of Muslims are Sunnis, while an estimated 10-13% are Shias. This report estimates that there are between 154 million and 200 million Shia Muslims in the world today.
Between 116 million and 147 million Shias live in Asia, representing about three-quarters of the world's Shia population (note that Iran is included in the Asia-Pacific region). Meanwhile, nearly a quarter of the world's Shias (36 million to 44 million) live in the Middle East-North Africa.1 (http://www.pewforum.org/Muslim/Mapping-the-Global-Muslim-Population(6).aspx#footnote) Looked at in a different way, 12-15% of the Muslim population in the Asia-Pacific region is Shia, as is 11-14% of the Muslim population in the Middle East-North Africa region. The figures for Shias are generally given as a range because of the limitations in the secondary-source data (see Methodology for Sunni-Shia Estimates).
Most Shias (between 68% and 80%) live in four countries: Iran, Pakistan, India and Iraq. Iran has 66 million to 70 million Shias, or 37-40% of the world's total Shia population. Iraq, India and Pakistan each are home to at least 16 million Shias.
Sizeable numbers of Shias (1 million or more) are found in Turkey, Yemen, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Nigeria and Tanzania. Shias constitute a relatively small percentage of the Muslim population elsewhere in the world. About 300,000 Shias are estimated to be living in North America, including both the U.S. and Canada, constituting about 10% of North America's Muslim population.
In four countries - Iran, Azerbaijan, Bahrain and Iraq - Shia Muslims make up a majority of the total population.

http://sheikyermami.com/taqiyya-holy-deception-quran-532/
The Qur’an in a variety of verses (2:225, 3:28, 3:54, 9:3, 16:106, 40:28, and 66:2) establishes the religious legitimacy of breaking oaths, lying, unilaterally violating treaties, and generally scheming against non-Muslims. Allah Himself is described as “the best of schemers” (3:54, 8:30, 10:21), and Muhammad declared, as a justification for murdering unarmed prisoners after offering them safe passage, “war is deceit” (see the Hadith collection of Bukhari (http://www.cmje.org/religious-texts/hadith/bukhari/052-sbt.php#004.052.269), vol. 4, book 52, nos. 268-271).
Schemers are liars... if Allah is the best of schemers, then by definition he is a liar as well.

Marcus. Once again. You're really wasting your time with this idiot. He twists, ignores, and avoids everything anyone puts in front of him. That's all he knows how to do when confronted with FACTS...HONEST FACTS, and TRUTH.
If he reads everything, as you challenged him. He will only make other excuses, or attempt to project his own false facts to prove everyone BUT HIM wrong.

I don't care for your lies, quite frankly. But I did address this with 2 of my friends, both in their 40's, not kids. One is from Jordan and Sunni, the other a Shia from Iran. When I asked them about it, while they said they had differences - they asked me - if we didn't feel the other were Islam, why do we go to the Mosque together every week?

Funny thing is, the Muslims I am friends with are from various places of the world. Mostly Sunni with a dab of Shia in there. They LOVE one another. They don't condemn the other based on their religious differences. Every BBQ I have been invited to at the end of Ramadan includes ALL of them. "Mitra", who is an Iranian woman, is like the leader of the pack, the Mother figure. She espouses love between them all and gives a lot of talk about Allah and how we are all of his people, differences aside. Of course I am left out of the serious Muslim talk, but I know they ALL are included, they all love one another and they all see one another as Muslims.
