Rioters have lit fires and stoned emergency services in the suburbs of Stockholm for the third night in a row after a man was shot dead by police.

Incidents were reported in at least nine suburbs of the Swedish capital and police made eight arrests.
On Sunday night, more than 100 cars were set alight, Swedish media report.

Police in the deprived, largely immigrant suburb of Husby shot a man dead last week after he reportedly threatened to kill them with a machete.

The founder of a local youth group told Swedish media the riots were a reaction to "police brutality".
Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt told reporters on Tuesday that Sweden would not be intimidated by rioters.

'Opportunistic'

On Tuesday night, cars were torched in western and southern Stockholm, and stones were thrown at police officers and firefighters. One area affected, Rinkeby, saw similar rioting in 2010.

Kjell Lindgren of the Stockholm police told Aftonbladet newspaper that the unrest had spread from the original rioting in Husby.

"It feels like people are taking the opportunity in other areas because of the attention given to Husby," he said.

Earlier on Tuesday, Prime Minister Reinfeldt said: "We've had two nights with great unrest, damage, and an intimidating atmosphere in Husby and there is a risk it will continue.

"We have groups of young men who think that that they can and should change society with violence. Let's be clear: this is not okay. We cannot be ruled by violence."

More than 80% of Husby's 12,000 or so inhabitants are from an immigrant background, and most are from Turkey, the Middle East and Somalia.

Reading, and hearing about this unrest taking place in Sweden now makes me wonder: How many Americans, who formerly swore they would rather live in Sweden, than remain here in the USA...STILL feel the same way?

You know? Like all of those Movie Stars from Hollywood who think they are smarter than the rest of the country...that makes their life of fame, and FORTUNE possible.

Reading this, it doesn't surprise me that immigrants are having trouble in Sweden.

Honestly, even if the immigrants were law abiding and high income people, the Swedes aren't very welcoming of outsiders.

I've mentioned that my sister lives in Finland, actually an Island off the coast of Sweden (Aland), and has lived and worked there for over 17yrs. While the people there are nice, they are also standoffish.

I can only image the trouble someone foreign, poor and of a different religion would have to go through in order to live and work there.

6 days in and it's spreading. More arrests than since the 'demonstrations' began:

Rioting spread to several Swedish towns on Friday night as police stepped up arrests during a sixth night of unrest and far-right vigilantes chased non-whites in southern Stockholm.

In Linköping, central southern Sweden, police responded to 120 incidents as cars, caravans and two schools were set alight. At one point a blazing truck was rolled into a building, which caught fire.

"We see the night's events as an offshoot of what has happened in the Stockholm area in recent days," local police told Swedish television.

In Orebro, 120km west of Stockholm, police were stoned after cars and a school were torched. In Uppsalla, north of Stockholm, there was minor violence.

In Stockholm, police made 18 arrests - the largest number since the disturbances broke out last Sunday night in the northern suburb of Husby a week after an elderly immigrant was shot dead by police. The violence appears to have been sparked by young, second-generation immigrants from north Africa and the Middle East angered by racism and social exclusion.

Some 20 cars were torched overnight in the city, according to media reports. On Saturday morning, a further 21 cars were set alight in less than an hour in Åkersberga, just outside Stockholm, Swedish television reported. Police pursued the perpetrators by helicopter.

In the southern suburb of Tumba, at least 50 rightwing extremists chased immigrants, according to numerous media and eye-witness reports on Twitter.

'Immigrants':

Tactical military genius.

Invading armies arrive in civilian clothes and call themselves "immigrants."

The darkies are muslims and the right wings are Swedes. They need to call a spade a spade.

Seems the Swedish police do not want to 'provoke' the immigrants, so they've really pretty much let them do their thing, within certain neighborhoods. Fire departments are not responding to many of the fires, as not to 'provoke.'

Seems some Swedes though are none too happy about their property going up in smoke.

Swedish Citizens Take to Streets to Defend Property From Rioting Immigrants Posted by Jim Hoft on Saturday, May 25, 2013, 1:10 PM

Faced by another night of terror at the hands of predominantly immigrant rioters, Swedes grown tired of the police’s inability to put an end to the unrest took to the streets Friday night to defend their neighborhoods.

The vigilantes were described as a motley crew of homeowners and concerned citizens, as well as neo-Nazi activists and football hooligans.

In the Stockholm suburb of Tumba the police decided to abandon their earlier non-intervention policy as a large group of police officers rounded up and dispersed a group of vigilantes trying to fend off rioters.

The decision to round up vigilantes while, according to Stockholm Chief of Police Mats Löfving, ”doing as little as possible” to stop rioters, met with a wave of protests in various social media and on the Internet. Representatives of some vigilante groups contacted Fria Tider to give their view of last night’s events.

– The number of police officers on the streets is simply staggering. The police appear to have focused all their resources on stopping the Swedes, Fredrik Becklin, spokesman for the nationalist youth organization Nordisk Ungdom (Nordic Youth), said Friday night.

– It makes me sick to see the police clamp down on us Swedes with full force and without warning, using nightsticks and tear gas, while they don’t do a damn thing about the immigrants. We are only trying to help maintain order, while the immigrants set cars and buildings on fire, said a young man who wished to remain anonymous.

The police, however, rejected the accusations as unfounded.
Fifteen percent (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/worldviews/wp/2013/05/24/five-charts-that-help-explain-swedens-youth-riots/?wprss=rss_world) of the population in Sweden is foreign born.

Sweden is now, no different from any European nation, or the United States.

The so-called leadership controls the Justice Department, and the Police. All of whom have been
instructed by the COWARDS in leadership to...NOT MAKE WAVES, LOOK THE OTHER WAY, TURN A BLIND EYE, and PRETEND
THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS.

Like we do here in the USA under the Obama administration.
"HOPING if we ignore everything that is wrong. It will CHANGE and just go away!"

Meanwhile. The enemies of Freedom get to control, and take over with the blessings of an OBAMA!
