View Full Version : Ridiculous
This is ridiculous to take the win from these guys simply because the last member to cross the finish line held his hand at ear level and pointed to the sky , hardly excessive celebration in my eyes

Come on Noir I know this isnt your thing ( religion I mean ) but placing your finger ear level and pointing to the sky is hardly excessive celebration don't ya think ?

Doesn't even sound religious to me tbh, like idk maybe i'm imagining it wrong, but i see it like holding up a finger to say 'number one' i don't see what would make it seem religious unless someone said it was...the kid has confirmed its religious fairplay, as to whether it was excessive, none of us will know, there doesn't seem to be any , and the only witness account i've heard it from the 'victims' dad...
But the serious stuff aside, its hilarious that someone would be punished by losing the race, for thanking their god for helping them win the race, in the words of George Carlin 'Maybe, just maybe, he doesn't give a shit' xD

I saw nothing wrong at all and track events in Georgia sure try to take freedom from the kids.
That must be Columbus Georgia then??
I was based at Ft. Benning for a few months in 1962. I hardly got into the town though. I did not shop at all there but I did take off into Alabama one day to see drag races. Over the river in Alabama was a drag strip and to my CA eyes, it was amusing. It was not flat. We did not use such tracks in CA. One thing I lacked in the Army was money. I got paid so little that in a town, it could be all gone in not too long.
