There were nearly 3,000 killed on 9/11 alone. There have been OVER 20,000 terror related attacks since 9/11. That's accounting the attacks, now how many were killed in total. And even if it comes out to be .00000000000000001% of those killed worldwide by guns, is it still something we overlook or try to diminish in any way?

Trust me, I know how bad it is elsewhere. I know terrorism around the world is worse than what we see here in the States. And yes, I know the deaths in total from guns have a higher count than terrorist attacks. I suppose both are equally horrendous, but terror makes more news due to the larger devastation from a single attack. I suppose my point is, it's apples and oranges. The only thing similar is a scumbag doing the killing and the end result is death.

As to your bold, you're stretching it a bit to make a point. We are dealing with non-stop efforts to legislate and regulate guns and ammunition. While there isn't much being done to 'eliminate' them, luckily, thanks to our 2nd amendment, to say nothing is being done to prevent attacks either is also false. I could go over just how my sons school has changed, or how massive amounts of schools are now changing, and public places, and federal buildings...
