It is near the Kazakhstan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazakhstan) border. The prison houses some of the most serious criminals in Russia. It holds pedophiles, murderers, cannibals and so called "maniacs".[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Dolphin_Prison#cite_note-2) Prisoners at Black Dolphin are imprisoned for life.[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Dolphin_Prison#cite_note-ListingOrenburg-1) Prison guards place blind folds on arriving prisoners. This is done so that prisoners can not map out the prison or plan escapes. Prisoners are also carried like this from building to building. Also unique to Black Dolphin is the form in which guards carry inmates. Inmates are bent over and have a guard hold their hands behind their back which are handcuffed. This stress position allows for maximum control over the inmate. Again, blindfolds are commonly used. While there have been rumors of inmate abuse and misconduct at Black Dolphin Prison, there are no confirmed reports or complaints. [3] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Dolphin_Prison#cite_note-3)
Inmates are kept isolated and housed in a cell within a cell. For 90 minutes a day they are transported to a larger cell for exercise time. During this time, the cell is searched for contraband or illegal items that inmates are not permitted to have. Prisoners at Black Dolphin are kept under 24 hour supervision; they are not permitted to rest or sit on their bunks from the time they are awoken until it is time to sleep again. Every 15 minutes a guard makes rounds to check on each cell to ensure inmates are complying with the rules. [4] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Dolphin_Prison#cite_note-4)
There are 700 Inmates and 900 officers of the Federal Penitentiary Service (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Penitentiary_Service).

What we need in this country to deter crime is a President, and Congress that obey's, follows, enforces, and practices the Laws of the land, and lives by the Constitution.
Until we get both a President, and Congress that Obey's, and Follows their Oath of Office Honestly. There is no way to deter crime.
That video, if it was used here. Would mean the End of America as we know it.

Very well stated and we are in total harmony.
Making peace with you was well worth doing.

Brutal conditions, mainly on the food. In this country, the left wingers would never allow this.
I think I can favor this given the crimes. TX handles them generally by simply killing them.

We need the only thing that has ever worked to reduce crime: The freedom to carry a gun, either openly or concealed, any time and anyplace we want. Nothing else (gun bans, waiting periods, confiscation from law-abiding citizens, etc.) has ever resulted in ANY decrease in crime rates. Only the right to keep and bear arms has ever shown positive results. There's never a cop around when you need one. Criminals plan it that way.
(Cue the standard liberal response: If one person gets killed, the whole plan must be thrown out as useless. Never mind that the other plans kill far more :poke: )

I wonder what the Russians would charge us annually to imprison our trash?

I have to say that idea sure sounds smart.
What about if they use a weapon in a crime, any weapon, they are locked up for life, no parole?
