(CNN) -- Saber rattling rose to new levels Monday on the Korean Peninsula as Pyongyang officials "scrapped" the armistice credited for nearly 60 years of uneasy peace and then failed to answer a hotline phone.


"The Korean Armistice Agreement is to be scrapped completely just from today," said a spokesman for the North Korean military -- the Korean People's Army Supreme Command -- according to Rodong Sinmun (http://www.rodong.rep.kp/InterEn/index.php?strPageID=SF01_02_01&newsID=2013-03-11-0015), the official newspaper of North Korea's ruling Workers' Party.


North Korea cited the U.N. Security Council's unanimous passage Thursday of tougher sanctions against Pyongyang for carrying out missile and nuclear tests.

Maybe Obama can convince the Resident, North Korean Idiot to attend the next Nuke test....up close and personal for a Photo Op.

North Korea has no way to deliver it's nuclear bomb. Only way at present is by truck or Ship. They have no plane capable of carrying it.

Their nukes are a non issue in battle.

Their Military equipment otherwise is ancient and obsolete.

Ships aren't at all uncommon. Neither is a truck.

We shouldnt make assumptions about what they can or cant do.

We track every ship leaving North Korean Ports. In a war those ships would be sunk before they got anywhere near south Korean or American assets.

Trucks would never make it past the 38th parallel.

The only bomber aircraft they have was built back in 1950!

also, the North Korean Nukes are primitive at best and are not even able to be self contained. Think of the Alamogordo tests in the 1940's.

Those nukes are a non factor.
