We have a disgruntled ex-cop, Christopher Dorner, at large in Southern California who is hunting down police officers that he names for corruption in his manifesto. He is also targeting those officer's family members. As it stands now, we have a young couple gunned down in their vehicle at the parking structure at their home on Sunday. The woman was the daughter of a cop named by Chris in his manifesto. Two officers were ambushed early this morning while waiting at a stop light. One was killed, the other in serious condition. A third officer was shot at later this morning but was only grazed. Chris is driving a dark Nissan truck with license plates 8D83987 or 7X03191.
This is all over the news this morning. This guy is seriously pissed with the LAPD as he believes they are a morally corrupt institution. You can read his manifesto here:

Now, here comes the scariest part. The LAPD, and other police departments, are soooo damn skittish over this guy that they are opening fire on INNOCENT CIVILIANS who just happen to be driving a vehicle that looks like Chris's Nissan. Two newspaper delivery ladies were shot this morning delivering papers near the home of a police officer under protection who is named in the manifesto. The officers did not bother to stop the vehicle, see who was inside. They just opened fire. A third victim, a man driving in the area in a truck was also shot at by police for driving a similar looking vehicle. Again, the police didn't bother to try and pull the guy over. They just opened fire.
As long as you are not related to the officers in the manifesto you can breathe a sigh of relief. This guy is not after you. BUT, if you drive a dark pickup truck you better stay the fuck home today unless you want to be gunned down by the very same people sworn to protect you. It "almost" lends credibility to Chris's manifesto.
When the dust settles from this affair, the LAPD is going to have their asses sued raw.
What a damn mess!
