Weird, how come I never heard of this woman or this case? An interesting read, indeed. Not sure how much this one person will represent the entire community though.

After reading, it seems like they are trying to claim self defense, but then show a long history leading up to that day as the facts. I dunno, I wish there was more than that, like proof that her life was in danger, proof of injuries caused by him. Maybe I need to read more than this one story.

Not really sure why I would be squirming about this murder trial. Nor am I really sure what a couple of people who clearly didn't live their professed faith have to do with my sex life. Especially since I've never heard of these people until today.

I would think that anytime a member is murdered in cold blood, they squirm.

Jodi is not a Mormon. Jodi got on the witness stand and says she killed him. But what else did she do?

She took photos of her deed as she took care of this victim.

First she was not in the state.
Then she claims she showed up but some intruder attacked him.
They have her dead to rights. So now she blames the victim for her killing him.

Sure, the Elders are concerned.

Look, just for the record, our belief does not require some former girl friend to kill some guy in the shower. She took pictures of her crime. She tried to destroy the evidence but failed.

I had blanked out of my mind though she converted. I now recall that same thing being said on the TV program I first learned of this on. Gabby laments that in UTAH press it was not followed. Hell I don't know if that is true. I do know though that I heard of this not by CA press, but on NBC TV. Does Gabby accuse the CA press of muffling this also?

First as to the Mormon thing.

He was not raised in the church until after his mom divorced, his grandma started taking him to church with her. He converted.

He stated he was raised on the wrong side of the tracks in Riverside, CA per those who knew him and testified.

They dated 5 months. For her to date then convert in that short a period of time may not have given her the true foundation to stay true to. Clearly he did not accept all the beliefs of the church, to wit: He had sex with Arias and other girls.

When he was killed, he was 30. He spent far more time being a Mormon than Arias had when she killed him.

And make no mistake, this is about her killing him. Not her having sex with him.

And she lied and lied and then told more lies.

What can she say that can be believed?

I think what she and ABC news is up to is trying to make it a Mormon crime rather than a plain old liar on trial for the brutal murder of a boyfriend that seems to have enjoyed sex.

This woman is accused of Shooting her boyfriend in the face, slitting his throat, stabbing him 27 times, killing him. She is claiming self defense, I'm wondering what you all think of this one.


Been watching this case since it happened, here in Phoenix..... It's all over the news, Nick..... This is no self defense, when she was first arrested she denied it, then when things were so overwhelmingly against her she ARROGANTLY stated she would never be convicted,she, before her arrest, dressed like a party girl, now her appearance is mousy and subdued....

Here is what I have to ask:

If he was so violent?~ why did she keep going over to his residence and have a sexual relationship with him... if he was so bad, she could and should have made the choice to stay away from him.... I have done so much in regards to domestic violence and true domestic violence she would not have kept in contact by phone, email, and text, mega contact she had with him on a daily basis.....

If he humiliated her in ways of sexual activity... why keep up a sexual relationship?

And how was she in self defense while he was in a shower, she stabbed him multiple times, shot him AND cut his throat?

And there was no evidence of a violent struggle while he was in a shower, he was just killed......and here is the part that will do her in:

She took photo's of each killing method, she stabbed him-took pictures...she shot him-took pictures, she cut his throat-took pictures.

Forensic evidence, the pictures show accuracy that NO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE occurred at the time of his death.

However, it was testified by several that she was possessive, domineering, and highly jealous, and he no longer wanted to be with her, and was beginning to date and she was jealous and vengeful therefore she killed him....AND ... there is proof that she planned this.. she took pictures of each stage of killing, she told others if she can't have him no one else can.

Bottom line.. he is deceased and can not defend himself against her accusations.........
