Maveriics surf contest

A few miles from me, on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, tomorrow will be the very dangerous Maverics contest. Too dangerous to let spectators get an ocean side view. Not too long ago, viewers were washed into the ocean by one of the enormous waves so now they watch it on TV.

I have never seen a live surf contest.
