Take a close look at those numbers.

Revenue went down slightly under Bush early, then rebounded, and started going back down under Obama.

Spending under Bush went up 1193.5 from 2000 to 2008, or about 150.0 per year. Spending under Obama went up 620.6 from 2008 to 2011, or about 206.0 per year.

Up until Obama, the largest difference between revenue & expense was a -458.6 in 2008. Under Obama, the largest difference is more than 3 times that, at -1412.7

The spending under Obama is the problem, according to the numbers.
