I saw a normal video a few days ago and I thought I heard them referred to as "puggles" but thought that was a newer breed of dog. Anyway, very odd animal and a funny as hell video!
Video can be a bit of an adult nature!

Echidnas are also known as "spiny ant eaters". Echidnas, like the platypus, are the only two mammals that lay eggs.
Up until recently, the echidna was not classified as a mammal (I don't know why biologists changed their minds.. maybe they decided they had to keep up with the astronomers who decided Pluto is not a planet)

I kinda like the little suckers. I wouldn't mind owning one, but looks like they would be difficult to take care of!

btw... as Jim said, the echidna in the video is a puggle, or an immature echidna... this is what they look like as adults
