Fellow Republican he may be but DeMint is backed by the Tea Party which explains the rift with establishment Republicans.
In any case, I don't see any proposal being good short term for the US economy.

That's correct, even Demint knows there must be much more cutting and less spending. Boehner is trying to play the middle of the field to appeal to both sides, which is probably the only chance with this retarded congress in play. But Republicans should sit back and demand cutting and no more spending. They aren't siding with Dems, only saying that Boehner's plan is far from enough.

At this point. Now, only four weeks from the end of the year, and still nothing anyone can agree upon to solve the problems. Almost anything, anyone says, about all of this is USELESS.

Everyone who is willing to TELL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THE TRUTH knows. No matter what Obama, the Democrats, or Republicans put out there for all to see.

The Democrats in the Senate are the real road block. They refused to even pass Obama's budget ideas.

I wish we all would stop to understand that what Obama has to do is carry out the wishes of Congress. Nobody by voting for Obama annointed him as dictator.

Congress crafts bills and Obama either accepts them or sends them back for revision.
