The chance for Obama to appoint 4 years' worth of SC Justices and other judges.

Excuse me while I go bang my head against the wall for about half an hour.

Worse than that. The dumbest, of the dumb in America who voted for Obama twice. Will say nothing about such possibilities. Because. They really have NO IDEA how important the SC is to the survival of their own nation.

We all know. More than 50 MILLION Americans are dumber than a bag of hammers when it comes to who they vote for. Not only for Obama, but look across this nation at the people who have BEEN IN OFFICE longer, in many cases. Than most of the Liberal college kids now becoming Brainwashed Democrats.

We need an alternative to the divisiveness of leadership of both parties. Not only is the Supreme Court likely to change, turning more like the NY Federal Ct in legislating by fiat; we've retained a President that also legislates since he won't even play with Congress. He just uses his magic pen and out goes another EO.

One wins through ideas and action plans, not calling the other side names, regardless of the momentary pleasure. Positive will beat negative in the long haul. However the conservatives/libertarians need to find someone that gets the big picture and how to explain the benefits of self-reliance and frugality on the common welfare. There has to be a clear vision for minorities, women, etc., just waiving off these groups is not a plan.

Actually. Banging our heads against the wall, or hanging ourselves is exactly what the Liberal, Democrat, Easily led, Gullible Americans who voted for Obama...HOPE we will do for the next four years.

Personally. Because we now face another Groundhog Day of Four years in the White House, and Congress. NOTHING has changed but the date.

We cannot, and should not just go hide somewhere, or ignore everything because the Socialist, Marxist, Communists of Congress managed to FOOL the UNEDUCATED Americans again.

To the contrary. And against the Wishes of those who suffer from perpetual STUPIDITY after voting for Mister Obama again.

None of us should feel defeated. Stay strong. Don't give up, or Give in. We are Americans first.

If the rest of America who also claims to be Americans first...remain as they are.

They will be the first to realize, and understand how THOSE PROMISES they voted for. Will not take place because Obama, and the Democrat Senate....Do Not Have The Money to keep such promises.

No major decision is going to be made with approval from Congress. And the GOP still controls the House. Compromise has to occur or the economy falls off a fiscal cliff.

Which is why it has, since the Democrats refuse to compromise, and why we got Obamacare stuffed down our throats. Obama "promised" he would compromise and then holds meeting after meeting behind closed doors with just Dems, and he also said he would have the most transparent administration ever. It's transparent alright, but I don't believe in the manner in which he intended.

Right again, gabby. As long as Harry Reid is the Majority leader in the U.S. Senate. NOTHING is going to be done.

Harry and company...namely Obama. Now have control over whether the economy falls off that fiscal cliff.

Good thing about this Obama Term is. He, and Harry can no longer blame Bush...or the Republicans as they did before.

This TUESDAY. Obama and Reid OWNED the Economy.

Tell us what Improvements occurred.

Compromise has to occur or the economy falls off a fiscal cliff. To Democrats "compromise" means agreeing partly with them. They say spend a trillion more than we have in revenue and we are supposed to "compromise" and spend $0.99 trillion. Instead, since all spending bills start in the GOP controlled House, we should start at spending substantially less than revenue to pay down the debt, and let the Democrats compromise on how much more burden we put on our children and grandchildren.

Actually he doesn't meet with Dems very often. Many complain that they never see or hear from him or administration in general. Seems he just lets Reid and Pelosi give orders, which is why there is the gridlock their is.

I think it is going to be up to the House and Senate to hash this thing out. They are the ones that are responsible to the voters.

There has to be a compromise. The electorate has pretty much preserved the status quo in Congress. If they fail to get things done, it is their jobs that are on the line two years from now.

In casting their votes for Obama, the voters have agreed with what he wants, which are income tax increases for the top 1 percent and cuts in military spending. Those two alone can put the economy back on the right track.

If you believe for 1 minute that only the top 1% is going to have their taxes increased, you might want to invest in some swampland.

Oh there are going to be deep, deep cuts in military, no doubt. Then in a few years, much more will be spent at much higher costs.

You do realize that increasing taxes on the top 1% will raise only billions, while the deficit is going up by over a trillion each year, right?

So Obama gets a pass no matter what happens? Why isn't he responsible to the voters?

And we can see why you voted for Obama.

None of that is logical.
When Obama won in 2008, he had won by about 55% to 45%.

This vote was about 50/50 with him barely making the majority. I speak of individual voters and not electors.

A huge number of voters do NOT want things done Obama's way.

We still have a divided form of government. There is no rule stating that it is the Obama way or the highway. The system does not work that way. GW Bush had more of a mandate and still he could not reform social security.

Raising the taxes on the rich won't do bumkis to fix the economy. Your belief is the economy is the Feds part of the system. It is not.

There is no way that should the Feds get more cash, it has any impact at all on the economy.

Escept that a dollar taken from Me or you might be the dollar that ends up in Egypt. It helps their economy.

Democrats preach Fed spending so when you curtail military spending, there goes that part of the economy with enormous job losses.

No, you being a democrat have no clue what the economy works like.

Kathianne. It has been proven, and repeated by the CBO (congressional budget office) that Obama and the Democrats use for all of their figures....that EVEN IF They Taxed the TOP 1% of Income earners at 100% ANNUALLY...it still wouldn't be enough to make a small dent in that 16 Trillion.
It will take Spending One Thousand Dollars a DAY, for the next 38 Thousand years to pay off the TRILLIONS.

Anybody got that much in their bank account? Better yet. Does anyone's Grandchild have that much in their Piggy Bank?
