We all had the October surprise with SANDY.
Yesterday, we had the dull Obama surprise...of 4 more years of Lies.
And everyone who was stupid enough, or gullible enough to vote for Obama that caused his win.
Will all get their APRIL 15TH surprise next year from the IRS when they learn. Obama really was Lying to them about Taxes.

I think we are seeing a basic shift in American society. It seems as if the America we grew up in has in effect disappeared. Hard work, prosperity, self reliance have been replaced by... unemployment, dependency, and poverty... that's the new American "dream"... why would the American voter give an obvious failure of a president a 2nd chance? Name one thing that Obama has accomplished... Obamacare, but what of it? It's a multi-trillion dollar boondoggle...
no, I think last night brought home a point... we aren't Americans anymore

KarlMarx. Obama has only accomplished ONE THING, everyone should remind him about.
Namely. He can no longer blame BUSH for the last four years. OBAMA can only point to himself. As for the foolish voters who re-elected him to further destroy this nation.
They will all get THEIR REVENGE...first time they learn Obama lied to them about HIGHER TAXES.

The Democrats are masters of deception and the American public is dumb enough to believe them. Sorry, they won't realize that Obama lied to them about higher taxes, the Democrats will blame the Republicans and they'll fall for it... after all, the American voter fell for Binders, horses, and what not.... they won't even know what hit them

I have to agree, that's certainly the looks of things, as of last night it does appear that the American experience has literally changed.
It's also become apparent that the nation isn't going to become 'conservative' in their ideology through the messages that have been used time and again since Reagan.
No, if conservatism is going to be influential, they must come up with messages that resonate with more than 48% of the electorate. My first suggestion would be a message to GOP to get McConnell off of leadership position and encourage the same for Democrats regarding Reid. Both these men are incapable of playing nice with the type of influence they have. Let them represent their constituents, but take them out of partisan leadership roles.

The Pied Piper is on his way now! Leading the lazy and ignorant sheep to slaughter. It'll be great for them because under his plan they get slain last but slain it is.. so whats a few extra years when one is guilty of enabling the destruction? I am guessing that names have been listed and taken down for a reckoning someday. Justice delayed is better than no justice at all.-Tyr

That has been the plan all along!! I stated when he won in 2008 that his plan will be to destroy oue economy to destroy our military. Watch the military cuts coming in the next 4 years! We will be lucky to have a military as strong as britain by then and he already started that in the first term. Obama used our tax dollars to buy GM , SOLIDIFY ALL THE UNION VOTE FOR THIS ELECTION, THAT WASNT CHUMP CHANGE. He promised his cowardly lazy black brothers more free ride and made sure of that vote. He then promised more socialism to make damn sure of the leftist, anti-Amrerican vote and all that coupled with the sold out media put him over the edge. The sold out media was bigger for him than all the rest put together ! In my opinion they are all traitors and deserve justice for that.... real justice for such treason.
There is no silver lining when the car is already over the cliff but just hasnt hit bottom yet!! Free falling isnt better unless its compared to when the car actually hits bottom, thats coming soon.-Tyr

We are 'Americans' just not what we consider traditional. Truth is, this country has always been about change, while holding fast to the underpinnings. Got to return to that, and make the message meaningful to those new on board.

Tell that to Bloomberg. He just changed it to give himself another term.. Obama can and likely will just issue Executive order number XXXXXXX to allow for a third term if he wants it or he may just install himself into a third term the same way. You tell me who or what is to stop him!! Nothing... He ignores SCOTUS WHEN HE WANTS TO and does end runs round Congress with Executive Orders.
Plus now he will get to choose one or two new SCOTUS JUDGES. We saw what a lying piece of scum he put in last time, she refused to recuse herself from the obamacare case, a direct ethics violation if there ever was one! And her vote made sure that the law was not struck down!!-Tyr

Fair enough in its way ... although understated.
I think you'll find a systematic dismantling of America as any kind of world leader will occur. Your military will be substantially cut back. Your economy will remain weak, with all the suffering this will cause.
In all, America will be reduced to being a mere cog in a greater (if not actually in name) Global World Order ... something that's been a central ambition of the harder-line Left in various countries where the Left wields influence.
Obama worked from the beginning to see to it that America was no longer seen as a world leading power with reason for belief in itself. Who still remembers the grovelling international tour he embarked upon ? Even his humiliating, totally deferential 'curtsey' to the Saudi ruler ?
No, it's a fact that, as I see it, America is in a fight for its very identity. A fight Obama is working to lose 'on behalf' of you all.

All of what you say will come to fruition in the next 4 years, that's clear and was part of the Obama message.
What's not clear to many of his supporters is the consequences of those rollbacks.
The real question is whether or not the 'conservatives' will respond in a way that attracts those on the left and middle, without alienating the right. I see a portion of the 'right' the largest hurdle.

NOTICE:EVERYONE. There is a movie now being distributed across the country for some time during this month called "2016"
I understand it is somewhat of a Self-Fulfilled-Prophecy coming true with the results of yesterday's election.
We need to pay attention. Not GIVE UP, or GIVE IN to the Obama/Liberal/Democrat, intentional destruction of America.
They are depending on us to just go hide, and pretend nothing happened.
We are better than that. And none of us should forget WHO will eventually suffer if we do not pay attention.
OUR CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN, and even THEIR GRANDCHILDREN.

What are we then?
We are becoming tribes... Democrats, gays, Republicans, whatever you wish... the idea of being an American is somehow being lost
Remember in 1 Samuel when Samuel objected to selecting a king for Israel? God responded, they haven't rejected you, they've reject Me... it's much like that. From that point on, the very character of Israel changed, soon the kingdom broke in two, then the descent into depravity and finally the Babylonian exile.... it all started when the Israelites wanted a king...
somehow this all seems like that

Back to the thread topic: Does anyone see a way to stop us from crumbling like Greece?
I see people ready to leave the Republican party, and others hoping the Republican party will moderate it's social views to appease the masses. Both ideas seem to me ways of giving up/giving in, and worse, ways to make sure we continue down the path of destruction.
Perhaps we have not yet seen the future leader of the Conservative movement. Or perhaps it is God's will that America decline. Certainly taking the historical view, it's bound to happen eventually.

Too many run from the ideal that we must go hardline and fight. Yet fighting anf sacrifice made this nation and has repeatedly saved this nation! Now if one suggests playing hardball to destroy such obvious traitors they are turned on by most Americans. Obama is a traitor by every definition of the word, he breaks his oath of office, tries too weaken and destroy the Constitution which he is sworn to defend. These obvious truths are not admitted but by real patriots the rest make excuses and attempt to call it politics as usual when its not, not by any means. The agenda the dem party has now is geared towards destroying the Republic. Refusing to admit it will only lead to our defeat. Fact..-Tyr

I hear you. That is what I am seeing all around me. I know that my husband and I feel pretty sure right now that America is in decline in many, many ways, and that feeling makes us want to give up the fight. I am cautiously hopeful that once the shock of the election fades, and the nation gets steadily worse, people's vigor for the fight will resurface.

This is getting SO repetitive.
Your party lost, so the nation is going into decline. We're going down the tubes and headed toward Third World nation status.
Let's all abandon our political beliefs, renounce the existing government, buy a bunch of weapons and take to the streets.
This happened in 2004. I was part of it. We did a lot of protesting. Converged on Washington and several other large cities. Blocked the streets, yelled and screamed a lot, protested the anarchy of the current administration and generally made a nuisance of ourselves.
I don't have to tell you what conservatives thought of us. We were anti-American troublemakers, sore losers, hated the troops, blah blah blah.
Don't think you are any different.
