Some friends hosted a bit of an outing for a few of us. We went to Gibson's (http://www.gibsonssteakhouse.com/rosemont-pages-5.php) for a snack, eating in the bar, watching Notre Dame. We had Filet Sliders. Yum!

Then went to "One Night Only" (http://www.560wind.com/pages/one-night-only) at Rosemont Theater, aka Akoo Theatre, or Allstate buys all.

Watched the ND game yesterday, excellent OT game! Watched a bit of the Bears and their defense roll today. And now I'm leaving to go sit down and hopefully watch my Steelers beat Abbey's NY Giants!! :gs:

Kathianne. I became a N.D. fan after I saw "RUDY" for the first time back in the 90's.

There's nothing else I can agree, or disagree with you about them. Unless you talk about REGIS PHILBIN...a die-hard fan.

I would have gone to the beach today but I was too lazy. My daughter is out skating, though.

Steelers down 10 going into the 4th quarter and score 14 to be the SB champs!!! 2 major pass interference calls, a lame personal foul call in the end zone, a bogus turn over call... I thought they were going to find a way to lose. But the D came up strong in the 4th and the backup RB, Isaac Redman, ran for nearly 150 and they pulled it out. The Giants are a great team, but the Steelers better today!!

I didn't watch the game, but I knew the Steelers had won when Katie's name came up on my caller ID screen.
If the Steelers win, she calls me as soon as the game is over. If they lose, she broods for a while first. :laugh:

And as for the Bears, I have Matt Forte in my Fantasy league, so I'm happy!
