Since it is easy to find out I am in the SF Bay area, time to talk baseball.
Normally my teams are the Oakland A's for baseball and the SF 49ers for football.
When Charlie Finley owned the As, since I did not like him, I had a hard time trying to support the As. When the As won so many World Series in a row, one had to be a fan and believer.
Al Davis yanked the Raiders off to la laa land and I did not like Davis for this so when the Raiders came back, I had switched to the 49rs and refused to go back to the Raiders.
When the A's lost to Detroit, who I felt was a second rate team compared to the As, I hoped that the Giants would get a crack at them.
Holy wow
The Giants can sweep Detroit by winning tomorrow.
You can all imagine the joy the Bay Area is going through. And our 49rs have proven to be a powerful team too.
And of all things, it seems the Warriors Basketball team is poised to have a great season.
Stanford was a minute from beating Notre dame a couple weeks back then today Oklahoma gets blown out by ND. My disappointment is that CAL is lousy.
