This isn't a one off post. This is in the same line as "The last post wins..." and "What are you listening to now...". I saw this elsewhere and thought it would be a great idea. It need not be a religious thing, just simply stating what you are thankful for at any given time. And it also need not be a one time thing, we will all be thankful for things as time goes on, and it's nice to share with others what brings joy into our lives!
I am thankful for...
A wonderful wife that I took for granted for so long. A beautiful and caring son. A warm home. 2 awesome pups who I adore. I'm blessed to be in a family where we aren't rich by any means, but we don't "want" for the things that are necessities in life. For great family and friends. For a website I own which has so many kind and supportive people on it.
And boobies. :)

I get this.
I'm thankful that I'm still here. I don't mean at DP, mean 'here.'

I am proudly Thankful for my wife, and best friend of almost 44 years...in March. Our two, grown, war hero son's, their ladies, and the FIVE Wonderful little people who call me Pop, all of whom show so much Unconditional Love to me...THANKFUL for every morning I wake up after knowing how close I came with my last Heart Attack....to not being here to upset, and cause anger to so many people who dislike me because I ALWAYS TELL THE TRUTH.

Thankful for my bride of 26 years and the two healthy smart kids that she gave me. That and my new Jeep, and the great trade in for that gas-guzzing Expedition that the dealer gave me.

First, I am very thankful for being above ground. I am thankful that I have a wonderful family that I dearly love and even better that loves me despite my many faults! I am extremely thankful to have been blessed by being born an AMERICAN!!!! One of God's gifts to all of us that are lucky enough to be Americans...
Last but not least very thankful for my natural ability to use firearms at such a high level of accuracy because its just possible that is going to yet again come in very handy.
God, family , country --guns.. Thank God for our citizen's right to have them..-Tyr

I am thankful that I live in a free country and the people who keep it that way. Everything else is secondary.

I am thankful for my wonderful family. My awesome husband and daughter. My mom and dad. The most awesome sister ever. All my in-laws who love me despite our political differences.
I am thankful for this board, which has allowed me to blow off steam and aggravate people for close to a decade.
I am thankful for my job, which I truly enjoy.
I would be thankful for boobies if I had some.

Im thankful for math...and of course boobies of all shapes and sizes, because it's not the breast itself, but the nurturing it represents.

I am thankful for many things. The mother of my oldest daughter has Alzheimers and is the charge of the man who took her from me. I pray he does not get arrested again for abandoning her to lay fallow in her feces and urine. I thought he actually wanted her.
Our daughter who has my only grand sons is awesome. So is her husband and the boys they brought to life.
My last wife, bless her soul, since she decided to buy a bottle of vodka in the summer of 2011 and vanish off the island of Kauai. Leaving our daughter living there with her husband to mourn her departure. Even the Cops who traced her cell phone to the liquor store back to the parking lot her vehicle was found, along with the cell phone and her purse, as well as the orange color bag close to a cliff she put the bottle into at the store, could not find her.
She never believed in my church nor I in hers.
We lasted 3 years is all. She never remarried nor did I.
Our daughter, 20 years the junior to her older sister, is very beautiful. She got that from her mom. I did my best to help in the looks department too. LOL At least the two daughters got some of my brains since they were top honors students. (no people, I am not arrogant like Obama is)
I saw life under communism. I do volunteer work at the local food bank so I can tell you I am so lucky to see those in dire need come to get food. I have worked all over that place. I have handed out lunches to the homeless.
Were they at any government office, they would endure a lot just to get food. I wonder why since my state is socialist CA, that the state does not have food banks?
I learned at the food bank we are supported by some pretty major stores. We get brand new cases of a wide variety of food to give out. They make lunches and deliver them to us to hand out.
I am grateful we have people who work at that food bank. I started there though not out of benelovencce, but to work off a $500 fine due to running a red light turning right when there was no traffic comming my way. At the food bank, I got to see up close what happens. I plan to still show up at least 4 hrs per week from now on. I like what they do for people.
Yes, I have seen the long waiting line at SS office. I saw the lines at the state offices where the poor show up.
I like the food bank plan.

A powerful list. Well, now I know you also live not only in your panties, but in the SF Bay area. Most likely not too far from SF since you mention only the As. I have high hopes as well for the
49ers.
I still like the As chances of getting high in the playoffs.
How you or I survive in this left wing hell hole, though God blessed us with enormous beauty of area is amazing to me.

Oh no, Robert, I was referring to the NY football Giants. Love football, not a fan of baseball. Sorry!
And I also live in a left wing morass, but on the East coast.

Gotcha. We in the SF Area believe the SF Giants might win it all this time.
Do you realize how close the SF 49ers came to being in the Super Bowl last season?

What I know even better is that the Giants won the SB, and beat the Cheatriots in doing so. That was one fantastic game to watch. ;)
