It was intended to be ironic. While Cheney celebrates the birth of his grandson he's killing other men's grandsons with cluster bombs.

Lets say for a moment that cluster bombs were used. They have a limited range, and if the enemy didn't fight in residential neighborhoods then there would be no kids around to get hit. The fact is, however, that we all care about thes kids more than the enemy does. They purposely target civilians as a tactic in this war. Is that not true?

Funny, I haven't heard about any cluster bomb attacks recently. IED's set by al queda, yes. Suicide bombers in market places, also al queda, yes. But no cluster bombings.

All hamas, hezbollah and other such organizations use kids as shields. The leaders stay surrounded by kids to prevent getting atacked and killed. This is a standard tactic that has been used for 40 years in the middle east. If they do happen to get attacked they can then point at the wounded and dead children to show what barbarians the western forces are.
