It was total fun, and the way things turned out was a surprise.
The whole theater was laughing throughout.
Keith Richards' part was very small, btw.

I'm going to see it tomorrow.. Hope you're right, since I *hate* sitting in theatres... I have a movie screen in my basement just as big as the ones at the threatre, and my basement has overstuffed leather furniture.. Why should I pay $9 to watch movies outside my house.. Hmph. :)

And then there's the joy of some teenager constantly kicking the seat behind you. Yes, that happens to me all the time, and tonight was no exception.
People came dressed as pirates tonight.

I saw it too. I really enjoyed it. Interesting twists. Poor Jack:(
Lots of interesting costumes out. and some really immodest teens. There was this one girl about 14 or 15 not dressed appropriately at all. and i saw alittle more than I should have when the wind blew the skirt up. cant figure out why a parent would let their girl go out in that.

Pirates in Uncharted Territory Already
by Natalie Finn

The doubloons haven't even started pouring in yet and the pirates are already pillaging the record books.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, the third and possibly final installment of the swashbuckling series based on the Disneyland ride, will sail into 4,362 U.S. theaters tonight at midnight, breaking the short-term record set three weeks ago by Spider-Man 3, which opened in 4,253 and topped out in 4,324.
According to movietickets.com, the film is poised to reap maximum box-office booty, as well, with advanced ticket sales outpacing the opening weekends of both Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Spider-Man 3.
But while Spidey swung into theaters unopposed, At World's End still has to contend with the red-suited superhero, as well as with Shrek the Third, which opened just last week to the tune of $121.6 million.

Btw, if you go, make sure to stay past the credits. There is a very short extra clip that you must see. If, like me, you've already seen the movie but missed the clip, you can catch it on Youtube.

My Pirate outfit is sacred :wink2: You would have to be pretty lucky to see it!
