Someone sent me a link that has Paul Ryan's stance on issues. No commentary, no opinions, just yes or no.

Most of us already knew about Ryan's record.
Are you willing to pay attention to Obama's record of lies?

Here's the deal, Ryan is consistent. He's a devout Catholic, thus his abortion stance. In general, I agree, though not with rape, incest, and health of the mother. Indeed, on that I'm with the Church stance. Ryan is closer to an absolutist on that. So be it.
He has a number of votes that one would be surprised at, considering his fiscal stance. Some will say, 'he's being hypocritical.' He's not. Again, look at his Catholic beliefs. Even his stance on entitlements are grounded on social justice issues. He just believes, rightly so, that the federal level isn't appropriate for many of the programs they are currently in control of. He's not saying he wants the mentally ill on the streets, poor children without food or health care. The elderly abandoned, indeed you won't find him saying to give them a Tylenol and encouraging them to let go of life. Nope.
He's consistent.

I like the Ryan pick. Especially on the Budget.

Right now the person that has to fear Ryan the most is Joe Biden....
Biden is heading for a major disaster in the VP Debates and he cant stop it....
Ryan is an amazing pick.... he has helped Romney grab a good piece of the Womens vote and strengthened the capture of independents as well .
Biden is old and slow by comparison..... he brings nothing to the table at this point...

Besides which, Biden can't reasonably call on Neil Kinnock for plagiarism material these days ....

What's in a quote? For Joe Biden, his plagiarisation of a speech delivered by Neil Kinnock, then Labour leader, helped put pay to his own campaign to win the Democrats' presidential nomination more than 20 years ago.
The speech by Mr Kinnock, as he desperately tried to remodel and rebuild the Labour Party, was widely judged to be a dramatic and powerful piece of political rhetoric - making it particularly tempting, but also unusually unwise, for Mr Biden to borrow its most significant passage without attribution to the British politician.
NEIL KINNOCK at Welsh Labour Party conference May 1987:
"Why am I the first Kinnock in a thousand generations to be able to get to university? Was it because our predecessors were thick? Does anybody really think that they didn't get what we had because they didn't have the talent or the strength or the endurance or the commitment? Of course not. It was because there was no platform upon which they could stand"
JOE BIDEN IN Sept 1987 during his first presidential campaign:
"Why is it that Joe Biden is the first in his family ever to go a university? Why is it that my wife... is the first in her family to ever go to college? Is it because our fathers and mothers were not bright? ...Is it because they didn't work hard? My ancestors who worked in the coal mines of northeast Pennsylvania and would come after 12 hours and play football for four hours? It's because they didn't have a platform on which to stand."
I don't doubt that your Lefties look to our Lefties for inspiration on how to help ruin your society on a regular basis (consider Obamacare, a much-watered down introduction to British NHS methodology). But Biden's performance suggests he's particularly lacking in originality ...

Biden facing off against Ryan is like a pre-schooler facing off against a college graduate. Yes, Biden is just that ignorant and Ryan is easily that intelligent and more. Should be a real joy to watch that debate. I will not miss it because it is sure to bring a couple of kneeslapping laughs at slow Joe's exspense. Romney is just about as that far ahead of obama too IMHO. -Tyr

I don't agree with him on quite a few things he's voted on. But, then I don't agree with hubby on quite a few things either.
We need someone who's going to help fix the economy and get people back to work. From listening to him speak I believe he knows what he's talking about and has ideas on how to change things.

I can't wait for the jabs and digs that I hope Ryan will bring to the debate. Biden will be turning into a puddle of goo in the corner mumbling odd things to himself.
I just hope Ryan is charging Romney up to stop being Mr. Nice Guy and be Mr. Missile-launcher of Facts.

Would anyone like to make some friendly wagers about whether Biden will find some excuse to delay, or even cancel his debate with Ryan?
If Joe does show up. Ryan should be a good gentleman, and take off his shoes, as a courtesy for Joe after he will OBVIOUSLY put both of his in his mouth.
