How much muscle is too much for a woman?

I think it's awesome to see so many women at the gym, wanting to take care of their bodies and wanting to look good. And even very muscular is cool, although not my cup of tea. But when it ventures into bodybuilding, and the women start looking like men, that's where I draw the line. What do you guys think of this woman? I think it's great that she put so much time and energy into her hobby/sport, but not the type of woman I would ever want to be with.

There are two types of muscle, slim and bulky.

Guys look better with bulky, and girls look good with slim muscle.

That being said, i don't like my women able to kick my butt. Nice and thin.

When I was in high school, one of girls on the track team with me threw the discus and shot put. She stood close to 6 feet and weighed around 250. And it was all muscle.
She was really outgoing, funny and popular. She went to college on an athletic scholarship. Now she works construction.

There are MANY women at this years Olympics that I would have loved to have been with!! Being athletic is a turn on, but I do think there is a line. IMO, only men should ever have huge, huge muscles, and even guys can end up looking freakish if they over do it. The only ones at the Olympics that I can think of that turn me off a little are the weightlifters. Some of them are just downright beastly.

Personally I think my friend Abby Huot is a very good balance of muscle and feminine curves... AND she's brainy and conservative too! :2up: Her boyfriend is also a competitor (she's pictured with him on her site). My cigar shop sponsored her in this year's Fitness Universe in Miami.

What would the comments be if ALL of the athletes in the Olympics were MALE?
And, what if most of the Males looked like, and had the shape of the Female Gymnasts like Gabby with the Smile???
What would everyone be saying about guys who DIDN'T have the physical appearance of what most of us consider, healthy, muscular males????

The problem with the sort of muscle that you see in Jim's pic is no more powerful a run of muscle than that built by Ms. Wright in Rev's pic, but the former muscle is actually damaged muscle as opposed to healthy muscle. When you can clearly see the veins in the arm like they're about to burst out without even flexing, you're damaging your body, not building it up anymore.

I love muscles, on both men and women.....but not the bulky, Hulk, type of muscles. When my ex was deployed he spent all his free time building muscle. When he came home he had put 4" on his chest (none of his clothes fit anymore) and guess what ... I could no longer get my arms around him for a hug. And, his incredibly rock hard chest hurt my boobs when he hugged me. Not a turn on for me.

The woman in Kitten's post is awesome ... muscles but not bulky.

My spouse has a lot of muscle - she wears it well, without looking crazy / man-ish.

Fit is everything in terms of hot bodies. Shapes change, but fitness is attractive.

I like men with some (but not excessive) muscle and masculine chests. Those body building guys with shaved chest look really twink to me.
Excessive facial hair and too many tats are also a turnoff. Men should be fairly tall with a decent hairstyle. Burr style cuts or excessive long hair look either gay or outdated.
