Google desktop

I just started using it. I could never find shit because the windows search was so damn slow, I'd forget what I was looking for waitning for a result. I don't see any drawbacks so far.

Maybe Jimmy should install it on this site to make searching easier.

Google Desktop rocks! Like a mini search engine which just searches your own machine. I use mine all the time.

You guys would love spotlight then..... unfortunately it only comes with OS10 and like everything else on my MAC it works perfectly every time.:cool:

When I was forced to go PC one of the many things that I missed was a good search engine. The Mac "Finder" was great- it could find anything.

Google desktop still only looks at certain files though. It completely ignores .dwg files. :pee:
