I took my son/daughter and a neighbor kid to a close-by off-road trail area in my wife's truck...
This was before we got into any fun parts:

Hadn't rained in awhile, so VERY little mud left on the truck?

Before the $10 wash

After - The tire dressing they use r0x0rs. It's been nearly a week, and, while not shiny, the tires are still very black/good looking.

The 'macho' guy in me (he's there...trust me) likes the truck dirty - shows it's at least ATTEMPTED to be worth the price of a 4x4.
But Clean? it looks pretty slick. :)

Hmmm... I post a picture of my truck, and somebody has to accuse me of having to "compensate" for something.

DMP,
Is it a Colorado?? It looks just like the truck my husband just bought, except his isn't a 4x4. No compensating at our house.

Gets 12-14mpg. Still cheaper than picking up a payment on a new car. :-/
Course, we could sell it and buy a wagon, or something to haul the family - then my wife would be out $ to rent a truck to haul her gravel and dirt and plants and what-not.
But yeah - since we got the truck, we're paying quite a bit more for gas now...$70? to fill it...a few times per month. :(

12-14 mpg OUCH!! Our truck gets almost 22mpg, but it isn't a 4x4.
He was driving a Daewoo (32-37mpg) until he kissed the bumper of a truck a month ago.
It is nice having a truck again for hauling things around.

I think our truck would benefit from new spark plugs and air filter AND new exhaust components. The plugs are old, and the filter and exhaust are in horrible shape. :(
