No doubt about it: Breastfeeding still causes controversy. In 2011 alone, a judge ruled that a woman couldn't do it in "his court" (http://us.lrd.yahoo.com/SIG=119fme55e/EXP=1327457791/**http%3A//yhoo.it/yuhikP) and under "his law," and Facebook deleted thousands of photos (http://us.lrd.yahoo.com/SIG=119nju3qg/EXP=1327457791/**http%3A//yhoo.it/wcQJf1) of mothers with babies at their breasts. Stores have thrown women out (http://us.lrd.yahoo.com/SIG=119a37fpt/EXP=1327457791/**http%3A//yhoo.it/wRhIAY) for discreetly nursing their infants, angry moms protested at places like Target (http://us.lrd.yahoo.com/SIG=1196dofnc/EXP=1327457791/**http%3A//yhoo.it/AsTVjy), and any magazine that shows a nursing mother on their cover still sparks outrage (http://us.lrd.yahoo.com/SIG=13e905gao/EXP=1327457791/**http%3A//www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,2053230_2053229_2053219,00.html), even if the woman is showing less of her breast than a bikini-clad model on the front of a typical fitness magazine.

Now, some parents are pushing to bring breastfeeding back to public television. Specifically, on "Sesame Street."

I expect that would be the parents getting booted out of Target for not moving to a more suitable location, and the parent told by a judge she can't breastfeed in his courtroom (who takes an infant to court anyway?!).

IMO, keep it off Sesame Street. Those wanting their children to know about it, can talk to their children about it themselves.

Sesame Street needs to stick to teaching a person how to Count and that's it.

I am sure these parents can find a way to show their children how breastfeeding works without getting Sesame Street to do it for them. What they really want is to push their agenda on the public.

Yep, just like those who wanted Bert and Ernie to come out of the closet. To what purpose? Oh , that's right.........

Every court I've ever been in had a 'NO Food or Drink' policy for members of the gallery. Facebook, target, or any other private company can do as they please. Same goes for Sesame Street in my opinion; but why? Are kids going to be breast-feeding infants any timesoon? Teach them to change a dirty diaper, that'd be useful.

Apparently they have been pushing their agenda since the 70's. I don't remember those breastfeeding shows from the past at all though. I do, however, remember being frustrated that all the idiots on that show couldn't see Mr Snuffleupagus. Grrr.
