Awesome. Great to see the Legislative branch keeping the other parts in check. Great to see the Judges rule in favor of freedom for the organization to run how it sees fit.

Today the court ended a four-year fight by letting a lower court decision stand. The suit came from three former World Vision employees who say they were fired because they didn't agree with the charity's "statement of faith," which is a condition of employment.
In August, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that World Vision could legally hiring based on religious affiliation. The court, upholding a lower court ruling on a discrimination suit, said World Vision qualifies as a faith-based humanitarian organization and is exempt from the Civil Rights Act.
In a statement, World Vision President Richard Stearns said, "Our Christian faith has been the foundation of our work since the organization was established in 1950, and our hiring policy is vital to the integrity of our mission to serve the poor as followers of Jesus Christ."
