Remmber how the liberal media was giddy when Pres Bush's approval numbers dropped intot he 30's?
Well Obama has done that in one poll, and is damn close in several others. It would be nice to Obama in the low 30's come November 2012 and watch the reaction from sore loser liberals the day after the election

So the first columnis the Polling Group, the second is the date of the polls.
I'm assuming the 4th & 5th are approval and disapproval respectively, and the 6th is the change since the last poll.
But whats the third column?

The sample - number of people polled
Another poll I like is the daily tracking poll from Rasmussen. This is from yesterday

I'm guessing that if it were another poll showing McChimpy with decent numbers, then it would be an acceptable polling place for you? Personally, I think all the polls are too limited in the amount they poll, but they all have McChimpy looking like the no experienced shithead he is.

The 6th is not the change, it's the spread between approve and disapprove; red numbers are bad.
The 3rd is how many were polled; RV= Registered Voters, LV= Likely Voters, and A= Adults???

We get it. You are fishing for a response for the word McChimpy. Again, we get it.

Ummm, no. Fishing for a response to the fact that almost EVERY poll has him looking like a dipshit, not just the one you scoffed at. And a response to the fact that he had no executive experience whatsoever, or any experience for that fact, that would show he was ready to be POTUS.

But Cain does have experience? How does that work in your world?

Cain has more experience than Obama ever had. Cain actually ran a business, made a payroll, and created private sector jobs
Obama, he has ran the country into the gorund, cost millions of people their jobs, and added more debt in 2 1/2 years then Bush did in eight years

Rasmussen by the way has probably the most accurate numbers due to the fact they AVERAGE all the others for their numbers.. So they are representative of a LARGER sampling of Americans or do you contest that!?!?!?

If Zona went in and polled say the MSNBC break room, or the news room at the NY Times, Obama would have a 95% approval rating
But in the real world where people are unemployed, losing their home, paying much more for their gas and food - Obama is sinking lower and lower

Damn, Obama has been in full campaign mode, the liberal media has been waving the pom poms on his behalf and constantly trying to blame R's for all the nations problems - and STILL Obama's numbers stink

It is not misleading at all. This is in line with most polls out there
Plus this is a daily tracking poll and it is clear most people are fleeing the Hope and Change Kid

No, an approve/disapprove graph would show the same trend and not be misleading IMO.

Bottom line is, Obama is sinking and I doubt anything will get him back up

Rasmussen is doing so to show the partisanship of it, not to mention likely voters.

The thread is about (dis)approval and the first post shows numbers regarding (dis)approval, now you're showing STRONG (dis)approval. I had to look twice at it to see why the spread was so much larger. Do you think those who only approve won't vote for him?

I suspect those who strongly approve will vote for Obama and those who strongly disapprove will vote for the other candidate
Either way, Obama is in deep trouble

Strongly has connotations different from those stating feelings one way or another:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/post/opposition-to-obama-grows--strongly/2011/10/04/gIQAlch2ML_blog.html
Opposition to Obama grows — strongly By Chris Cillizza (http://www.washingtonpost.com/chris-cillizza/2011/02/24/AB7OmvI_page.html) and Aaron Blake (http://www.washingtonpost.com/aaron-blake/2011/05/23/AFPeNbAH_page.html), Updated: Wednesday, October 5, 5:20 AM Four in 10 Americans “strongly” disapprove of how President Obama is handling the job of president in the new Washington Post-ABC News poll (http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/rick-perry-slips-herman-cain-rises-in-bid-for-gop-nomination-poll-finds/2011/10/03/gIQASiJiJL_story.html), the highest that number has risen during his time in office and a sign of the hardening opposition to him as he seeks a second term.
While the topline numbers are troubling enough, dig deeper into them and the news gets no better for Obama. Forty-three percent of independents — a group the president spent the better part of the last year courting — strongly disapprove of the job he is doing. Forty-seven percent of people 65 years of age and older — reliable voters in any election — strongly disapprove of how he is doing his job.
Strong opposition to Obama has grown markedly since the start of the year.
In a mid-January Post-ABC survey, 28 percent strongly disapproved of the job Obama was doing. With the exception of a poll in early May that followed hard on the killing of Osama bin Laden (http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/osama-bin-laden-killed-in-us-raid-buried-at-sea/2011/05/02/AFx0yAZF_story.html), that number has steadily ticked upward, as the year has worn on and the economy has remained sluggish (at best).
And even as his strong disapproval numbers have risen, Obama’s strong approval numbers have gone into a mirror-image decline.
In January, 30 percent strongly approved of the job Obama was doing. In the latest Post-ABC survey, that numbers is 21 percent and, as recently as early August, it had dipped to 18 percent.
All of those numbers — and yes, we here at the Fix do love us some poll numbers — point to a simple fact: The “anyone but Obama” crowd is getting larger and more strident in its opinions, while the president’s base is growing less and less strongly supportive of how he is doing his job...

There is no doubt that those opposed to Obama are more jazzed about the 2012 election VS those who still support Obama
This is a 180 from the 2008 election
Obama has not only drove the US economy further into the toilet but he has fired up the opposition to see do all they can to turn out and fire his ass in 2012
