Reports pertaining to the censorship and takedown of personal websites continue to flood in.

First, YouTube meddled with the view counts (http://www.infowars.com/censoring-the-internet-a-collection-of-essential-links/) of folks like Alex Jones over at Info Wars and Prison Planet. Then Flickr (http://thomashawk.com/2009/06/flickr-user-posts-comments-critical-of-obama-on-the-official-white-house-photostream-and-has-his-comments-along-with-his-entire-flickrstream-deleted-without-warning.html), MySpace (http://www.infowars.com/social-networks-censoring-obama-joker-images/) and Facebook (http://www.infowars.com/facebook-deletes-official-alex-jones-page-over-gadsden-flag/) began censoring comments and material.
Now an increasing number of independent online media is beginning to feel the sharp edge of the blade.

When Wikileaks went under fire for its publication of material such as the quarter million diplomatic cables (or Pentagon Papers 2), Amazon decided to pull the plug (http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2010/dec/11/wikileaks-amazon-denial-democracy-lieberman) on its service to the whistleblower website.
