My psychotherapist said I take things too seriously and that I'm to treat that with cartoon therapy. All day I'm required to imagine every person I encounter as a ridiculously exaggerated cartoon. I did, and my imagination really kicked in, giving people huge noses and gigantic double chins and I made their voices really moronic. The problem is, I kept laughing at everyone I met. Now my coworkers think I'm crazy and my boss has ordered me into therapy. I didn't tell him I'm already in therapy.
Now I've got to go watch all these Looney Tunes DVDs, which are before my time, but my shrink insists they'll make me laugh and stop me from being so serious. Should I watch them or is it time to find a new shrink?

If your shrink is hot, stick with him. Otherwise, look for a hotter shrink.
As to the cartoons - Looney Tunes rule above all other cartoons. I have several of the DVD sets myself. Pinky & The Brain works wonders as well.
J.T. can also point you in the right direction with some comic strips and cartoons that are both irreverent and timely. And sarcastic. Possibly sacrilegious. But very amusing.
