What should be removed is their heads. They obviously don't need or use them.

How is removing their benefits counter-productive and expensive. Seem it would save the state a lot of money. And make the fools work for a living.

Government has gotten so big that it would be more expensive to track those criminals and make sure they don't get benefits than it would be to just continue paying them.
