You act surprised. We have known that Obama will throw anyone under the bus to protect his own ass since some poor staffer lost his job because of the AFOne SNAFU in NYC. Anyone with a brain knows that plane didn't leave the ground without the POTUS's approval.
Obama is a piece of shit devoid of even the most minor of leadership abilities.

The gospel truth is that UNLESS Republicans can convince minorities and the white guilt crowd to vote on the issues and not the skin color, Obama WILL get reelected. That's just a sad reality of our times.

Unless somehting major happens (a terror attack for example) I suspect the 2012 election will be like the 1980 election when the folks fired a tax and spend liberal who drove the US economy south.
Obama is taking it to the brink
And I thought Carter sucked!

The Presidentail blame game has its risks
snip
Obama has suggested that blame for the stagnant U.S. economy lies in places other than the Oval Office. The latest example occurred Monday, when the president said, "There will always be economic factors that we can't control, earthquakes (http://www.foxnews.com/topics/world/earthquakes.htm#r_src=ramp), spikes in oil prices, slowdowns in other parts of the world.”
This tactic from the Obama administration is not new. Five days ago, the president suggested "messy democracy” bore some blame for economic stagnation. "When I said, ‘change we can believe in,’ I didn't say ‘change we can believe in tomorrow,’” the president said.
He has at times leveled blame at Wall Street, commodity traders, natural disasters, Washington inaction and Republicans -- specifically the previous administration.
Obama’s top Republican critics say there comes a point in any administration when the passage of time means a president should take responsibility for the problems he inherits.
"Presidents who try to blame circumstances on their predecessors don't fair very well with voters,” conservative pundit Michael Barone of the Washington Examiner said. “[V]oters sense they have greater responsibility for the situation America is in after they've been in office for one term."

If that isn't political BS I don't know what is. I suppose he meant "Change we can believe in yesterday".

Since Obama seems to deflect any responsibility for what he does onto others, I have come to the conclusion that he must have blamed his dog when he didn't turn his homework in on time.

Obama could have avoided making these excuses if he would not have
1) Nearly increased the annual deficit from $480 billion to $1.7 Trillion
2) not added $4 trillion to the nations debt
3) Increased spending by nearly 29%
4) Allowed a pork filled "stimulus" bill to pass that only added to the debt and the unemployment rate
5) Passed Obamacare that will explode the deficit and a majority of voters want repealed
Outside of that, Obama has not done a bad job, and would not have to make all these excuses

Oh my, who will Obama blame for this?
According to Gallup, (http://www.gallup.com/poll/148889/Economic-Confidence-Plunges-Past-Two-Weeks.aspx) “Americans’ economic confidence plunged to -53 in the week ending Aug. 7, a level not seen since the recession (http://www.debatepolicy.com/#) days of March 2009.” The survey (http://www.debatepolicy.com/#) goes on to report economic confidence deteriorated even faster in July and the first week of August than it did in June compared with May. “This plunge in confidence contrasts with the relatively flat trend in 2010,” according to Gallup. “It also places consumer perceptions of the economy in the range of March 2009 during the recession.”
In addition — and not coincidentally — the president’s job approval rating (http://www.gallup.com/poll/113980/Gallup-Daily-Obama-Job-Approval.aspx)has dropped to 40 percent, tying his low from a week ago, and his disapproval rating is now 50 percent. It’s only a matter of time before Obama’s approval rating sinks below 40 percent, at which point the rising concern among Democrats will turn to panic.
They understand the enormous wave building against the president and his party. They saw what it did in 2010. They know what it might do to them in 2012. And there’s just not much they can do to stop it.
