Seems Michigan loves having Independence Day activities on days OTHER than 4 July. Anywho, me, kids, and 50,000 of my neighbors gathered in a local park last night.

a lot of activities are on Friday and Saturday night around here....I think they're afraid the tourists will start heading back home by Monday and there won't be anyone left to spend money by Monday night.....
