Rioting over hockey?

We in Southern California resent the fact that people in Vancouver would riot over something as insignificant as a hockey game.
I mean, what's next? Unrest because Tim Horton's ran out chocolate filled? Get some priorities, people!
Dang Canadians always find a way to puck things up. :p

This brings to mind a post someone wrote not to long ago.
I just ignored it but somebody was saying something about black or Mexican bikers coming to town?
And called them animals or something like that. just a throw away racist statement. Like i said I just rolled my eyes and skipped to another thread.
This post just makes me wonder what these Canadians are? Are they animals or can we agree that human beings do stupid stuff regardless of their group?
