Republicans take the day but now the battle ahead...

Yes we've given republicans a chance to redeem themselves. We hopefully have cleaned out the weak minded, left leaning RINO's from the last decade and are now ushering in a new era of Conservatism. I like what I'm hearing so far from Speaker Elect Boehner. This is not a victory for Republicans. This is a repudiation of the current administration. If any republicans think its more than that, they will be in for a short stay. They are there to represent the people. If they don't follow our will, then we will elect people who will. Lets see what happens over the next 2 years. It is definitely more promising than the last 2.

I just hope that the American people finally realize that the power truly lies in their hands; that their vote DOES count and we can indeed hold our elected officials accountable. Maybe (JUST MAYBE) the citizens of this nation will shrug off their apathy at last.
