Rush Limbaugh will appear on the cover of the upcoming issue of Newsweek.

Limbaugh touted the cover on his website Friday. The magazine ranked Limbaugh first on its "Power 50" list, which it said was a new ranking of the "highest-paid pundits and politicos" in the country. The cover also plugs an article, "Rush Limbaugh: Always Right," by Zev Chafets, who wrote a mostly laudatory book about Limbaugh earlier this year.

He's come a long way since his hillbilly heroin days. He should do tours giving speeches to fellow addicts in recovery.

I've never listened to one of his shows. Just seen him speak at events.

I went out and looked up who the 50 were ..... and it's based on what their estimated 2010 earnings will be. I guess he's getting close to $60 million this year....and that makes him the most powerful pundit...and I guess one's salary is based on ratings.

However, if money = power, why wouldn't Bill Gates be the most powerful in America.

I love listening to Rush. He is very funny as well as informative. His books were well written and I stil have them in the book case

Rush was the guy who set the table for for the success of talk radio and saved the AM stations

The more hate filled libs like ST rant about Rush - that tells me Rush is doing an excellent job of exposing liberals and liberalsim to the light of day
