Here's a thread that I hope everyone will contribute to.

Now that Early Voting has started in many areas, we've heard of "errors" that come up with voting machines that seem to automatically vote for certain candidates when the voter didn't want it that way, and had to be corrected. Some of them took a LOT of correcting. Did they automatically come up with all Democrats until corrected? Or all Republicans until corrected? Or a mix of the two?

Also "errors" where ballots that were supposed to be mailed to remote locations for people to vote, somehow didn't get mailed, or were mailed too late etc. Were the people in those remote locations mostly Democrat, mostly Republican, or approx. 50/50, or etc.?

And other "errors".

So far, literally ALL of these "errors" I've heard of, favored the Democrats for some reason. But I certainly haven't heard of every last one of them.

Have you seen a report of oddball occurrances like these? Please post a brief note in this thread. Keep it short: A one-line description, the words FAVORING DEMOCRATS or FAVORING REPUBLICANS, and a link to the report. This brevity will make it easier for people to scan the list and see if the "error" they are about to post, has already been reported.

Please don't re-post things that are already in this thread, OK?

I'll start it off. Lay on, MacDuff!

Bern, NC - Voting machines displayed the names of all Democrats, with checkmarks voting for them, and took many corrections from election staff before they finally allowed voter to vote for any Republicans.

FAVORING DEMOCRATS.

Registrar of Voters Larry Lomax said those claims were “patently false” and said at no time did any of those voters report the incident to staff at their polling location.

Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent says a mechanical glitch delayed attendees of a Kendrick Meek (Edit: a Democrat) rally hoping to cast early votes yesterday.

Clark County Registrar of Voters Larry Lomax assured the news station that there was no monkey business with the machines and explained that the screens are simply extremely sensitive. With cameras rolling, he showed that if anyone had an advantage it would be Angle, whose name gets checked off if a voter clicks the English option too many times or if his or her finger lingers too long on the opening screen.

Maybe some teabaggers just don't know how to vote.

NYC - Several counties, including all five boroughs of New York City, have failed to send out absentee ballots to citizens living overseas by the deadline 45 days before the election, many of whom are in the armed forces fighting in Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. Story dated Oct 12, 2010.

FAVORING DEMOCRATS.

Only four examples so far???

Surely with all the talk we've heard, there must be more reports that can be linked to.

Come on, folks! Post some more!
