What should I pick as a career?

I have an interest in medicine

I have general office and telephone skills

I have social deficits because of my aspergers syndrome

Martin, with your special needs, you should see an employment counselor. Get the local Asperger's group to recommend one for you.

If you're interested in medicine and want to avoid working with to many people take a medical terminology class and/0r medical coding.

There are jobs at hospitals that just deal with scheduling procedures and registration of patients. In Registration you will deal with more people than scheduling which is all done over the phone.

If your typing is fast say 70-80 wpm you could do transcription which has no interaction with patients.
