Should I fly in, or drive the subaru + Blizzaks??
10 hour drive, or so...but would be assured good transportation if the roads get crappy. Rental car wouldn't have snow-tires. :(

Army Civilian Education system Intermediate Course. It's the civilian +/- equivalent of: Organizational Leadership for Executives (OLE), Captains Career Course (CCC), Warrant Officer Senior Course (WOSC), First Sergeant Course (FSC).

tdy pays $.50/mile to drive. Would save the .gov money if I drove. Airfare is NOT purchased thru commercial sites...costs a LOT... + Rental car.

Knowing how you like to drive I'd say do that. You'll have yer own car, the freedom to leave if need be etc. If you have time to spare go by air.

10 hours though. Sorta road-tripped out after 1600 miles (r/t) to kansas...
Thinking though - my spouse and kids might-could fly in and drive home w/ me. Kids have never been to DC.
