Once again we see the left going after banks, and demanding people be allowed to keep houses they can't afford

I hope Chase does not back down and tells the unions to piss off

The United Auto Workers and some religious leaders are calling for a widespread boycott of JP Morgan Chase financial services. According to The Detroit News, UAW President Bob King has called on individuals to withdraw their money from Chase accounts and cancel their Chase credit cards. Likewise, King has threatened to withdraw all UAW funds from the institution. The reason? King wants the bank to put a two-year freeze on foreclosures in Michigan. King, farm union leader Baldemar Velazquez and two religious leaders are planning to hold a conference today in Detroit to announce the boycott.

According to the DetNews, Chase, was one of the first financial institutions to try to work with borrowers to help them keep their homes. The company opened up loan counseling centers all over Michigan, including two in Detroit, and modified over 900,000 loans to keep homeowners under roof.

The Detroit News also says that the organizers of the boycott are critical of Chase's close ties to RJ Reynolds Group, a tobacco manufacturer that has not negotiated with the Farm Labor Organizing Committee for better pay and working conditions.

We should have a candlelight vigil for the demise of capitalism. :(

Do not give up yet Abbey. November 2 will be the first step in restoring sanity and the free enterprise system

The union thugs see their power is about to be gone and they are lashing out in total desperation

Meanwhile they are possibly moving more undecided voters over to the Tea Party side

Governor Pat Quinn's Payback
Is it "payback" for Governor Pat Quinn to win endorsements and get campaign cash from unions, and then act as governor in ways that benefit the union members?

Illinois Senate Republicans, campaigning for their member State Senator Bill Brady to be elected governor, say yes.

"It does become suspect when there"s huge contributions made, and then favorable action," says Senate Minority Leader Christine Radogno. "That's why I did support contribution limits because I think the potential for if not the reality of payback but certainly the perception to be there, that's very real, and we need to get away from that."

Radogno and other Senate Republicans have criticized Quinn for negotiating a deal with AFSCME, the state employees' union, while seeking their endorsement; intervening in a road construction workers' strike in July, after having taken contributions from those unions, and issuing an amendatory veto to a bill reforming practices at McCormick Place, the state owned Chicago convention facility, to satisfy Teamsters, who had given a campaign contribution....
