I'm not Religious by any stretch of the imagination, but why is it OK for the Gov to burn Bibles, but no OK for private citizens?
Do I smell a bit of hypocrisy?

Attorney General Eric Holder called it idiotic. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said it was disgraceful. Obama adviser David Axelrod went with un-American.

Obama himself held out hope the pastor would rethink his plans. "I hope he listens to those better angels and understands that this is a destructive act that he's engaging in."

Then there's this...
Oh, I understand the spin, but a Religious icon, is still a Religious icon.

Somehow, someway, over the last 9 years it has become more and more "incorrect" to insult Muslims in any manner. I wouldn't mind it so much if they did the same for all religions, or all "symbols", but that's not the case.

As I said in another thread, many are proclaiming it's wrong to insult Muslims in any manner, but a lot of these people have no problem insulting other religions, or the USA as a nation.

Maybe it's time for Christians to start taking hostages and cutting off people's heads every time there is a hint of insult towards their religion...
