Stumbled upon this site. Pretty cool. Mostly for kids in 4-7 th grade, but does have stuff for younger kids as well. A really neat site... Love it....:coffee:

Very good basics, even a little on philosophers. If you have kids or grandkids in school, suggest the school has this program implemented in American history classes:

It talks about the Bill of Rights, and is careful to say that it PROTECTS rights, not that it "grants" rights. And it mentions a number of those rights in particular. Kudoes!

Doesn't mention the right to keep and bear arms, though. Maybe because the author had difficulty reconciling what most common media says about it, with what the Bill of Rights actually says about it?

I haven't a clue. Something to think about. Maybe even write to the author and ask him/her.
