Is anyone shocked by this? Many made it clear there is no way the Desm could add 30 million more people of the handout list AND lower the cost
Next up, increased cost of health care AND employers dropping coverage for their employees
Congressional Budget Office estimates released Tuesday predict the health care overhaul will likely cost about $115 billion more in discretionary spending over ten years than the original cost projections.
The additional spending — if approved over the years by Congress — would bring the total estimated cost of the overhaul to about $1 trillion…
The CBO released the estimates in response to a request from California Rep. Jerry Lewis, ranking Republican on the House Appropriations Committee. A spokeswoman for Lewis said the inquiry was filed before the House voted on the bill…
The CBO estimated in March that the net cost of the overhaul would be $788 billion over 10 years, but cautioned that it couldn’t make an estimate of the discretionary costs without more time and information.

Dems can't fool a majority of voters - and I hope may of those voters are looking forward to November
Health Care Law
63% Expect Health Care Law To Increase Deficit, 56% Favor Repeal
The number of U.S. voters who expect the recently passed health care bill to increase the federal deficit is at its highest level yet, and most voters continue to favor its repeal.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows 63% now believe the health care reform legislation signed into law is likely to increase the federal deficit. That’s up four points from last week and up three points from when the law was passed in March.
Only 12% expect the law to reduce the deficit, down four points over the past week and the lowest level measured to date. Another 16% say the law will have no impact.
The percentage of voters who expect the law to increase the deficit has ranged from 57% to 63% since March.
Support for repeal is proving to be just as consistent as opposition to the plan before it was passed into law. Fifty-six percent (56%) now favor repeal, including 46% who Strongly Favor it. Thirty-seven percent (37%) are opposed to repeal, with 28% Strongly Opposed.
Since Congress passed the measure, support for repeal has remained in a very narrow range from a low of 54% to a high of 58%.

I'm amazed that anyone in the United States still believes anything he says...Obama is either a very bad liar or an idiot that actually believes this nonsense.

The ink is not even dry on the health care bill and now it is going to cost us more. No more (alleged) deficit reductions.
What we will find is that this bill will cause private health care insurance to collapse.
Remember, when John Deere, Caterpillar, AT&T and several other companies announced that the bill would reduce their profitability by hundreds of millions of dollars and Waxman and others on Capitol Hill screamed bloody murder, wanted these companies to testify, demanded access to their internal company documents.
Well, there was no hearing, because the documents showed that these companies would save 75% of the cost of their health care by eliminating their excellent health plans and instead, paying the govt penalty, and having all their employees take the public option.

Hey, this is what Dems promised. Pelosi did bellow the bill had to be passed so we could learn what was in it
Dems are out to put private insurance companies OUT OF BUSINESS and make the Fderal government the only place to get coverage. Once that happens the government will be able to tell you what you can eat, what sports you can play, what type of car you can drive, and every aspect of your life they can think of
How? By telling you what the government will "approve" as far as your healthcare based on your lifestyle. This will open the door for the government to CONTROL how you live
