The eighth of May spelled the day when German troops throughout Europe finally laid down their arms: In Prague, Germans surrendered to their Soviet antagonists, after the latter had lost more than 8,000 soldiers, and the Germans considerably more; in Copenhagen and Oslo; at Karlshorst, near Berlin; in northern Latvia; on the Channel Island of Sark--the German surrender was realized in a final cease-fire. More surrender documents were signed in Berlin and in eastern Germany.

The defeat of National Socialism in Europe.
That's right, boys and girls, World War II was the result of Socialism. World War II brought death to over 60 million people...
The Communists, also Socialists went on to murder millions more.
They killed over 60 million in Stalin's purges, starvation in the Ukraine, and in the Gulags.
They killed over 60 million people in Mao's Cultural revolution
The Khmer Rouge killed over 2 million
The North Koreans and Cubans are still killing
all in the name of Socialism
Remember, boys and girls, Socialism Kills.

LN... you should look this stuff first before you spout off. Communism is a form of socialism. The Soviet Union was known as the USSR. The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. That's about as much an endorsement of Socialism by a Communist country as you can get.
