my son is bummed out this evening.....he had found a foreclosure property he liked that was listed for $25k.....he put a slightly higher than full price offer in on it, hoping to benefit from the $8k tax credit which ends on April 30....unfortunately, some one else submitted a higher offer....nothing else on the market in the same price range that's livable at the moment, so it looks like his chance is missed unless they renew the program....net $13k for a four bedroom two bath house had him excited....
