He's reaching out to the people that helped get him elected. He hopes that they will rally in November and help the Dim-o-crats hold on to their stranglehold on Congress.

Obviously, he's scared. He knows of the wrath that is to come. He needs a Democrat controlled Congress to help him push through his agenda. What I meant was. There is no reason to "call out" the black vote. They vote overwhelmingly democrate in EVERY election no matter who's running.

The reason he won was because the independents went dem in large numbers, he was also able to excite the college voters who's turnout tends to be low.

I would say the dems are going to be in trouble, just like with Kennedy's seat, because I doubt the independents are going to stay democrate in Nov. Who knows if the college kids will bother to vote in midterm elections, afterall the excitment of electing the First Black President is over.
