good bill and a long time in coming, colleges like to deny transfers and add excessive credits needed for a degree to make more money off you.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — The Kentucky Senate has passed a bill that's meant to make it easier for community college students to transfer to four-year public universities.
The Senate made some changes to the measure, which means the proposal will return to the House for further consideration. The bill passed the Senate 35-0 Monday evening.
The bill would lead to a statewide agreement to eventually align arts and science coursework at community colleges with bachelor's degree programs at four-year schools.
Under the Senate version, the bill would encourage four-year schools to limit bachelor of arts and science degrees to 120 hours, and associate degrees to 60 hours. That provision is aimed at helping students complete school in four years.
