Seriously, I'm in shock at what has occurred over the past 2 years. In the awakening of the citizens and the total nonresponse by elected leaders. Shock.

And he'll be living alongside all the democrats who will be run out of office because they outright ignored their constituents. Isn't that what we elect them for, to speak for the constituents as a whole and represent their respective areas? The Dems are ignoring the people and will ultimately pay the price. Losing the trust of the people is the worst thing they can do. States are already moving lawsuits and enacting legislation to protect their states from having to adopt the reform. You will see a TON more of this and it will ultimately fail in the long run, hopefully sooner than later.
You would think that all the backroom deals and the efforts they are going through to push this through in unusual manners would be a hint to them, not to mention the protests across the country. But they are determined to ignore the people anyway. And I guarantee you that the "people" will not forget very easily or quickly.

Not sure who the lady from Ohio is,but my rep Steve Driehauss(sp?) switched his vote and he can kiss his ass goodbye in Nov. He beat out a true conservative(Steve chabot) last time, but he is allready loosing to him in the polls as of now. Chabot had previously held the seat for many years. This should be the icing on the cake.
Him and Stupak were totally snowed.....or threatened. They both heard what they wanted to hear.

Sure ......... make those people who work pay for the irresponsibility of those who don't. Perfect socialistic statement Libbs. Instead of teaching people to be responsible, let's just pass a law that says the taxpayers have to pay for everyone's lack of morals.

if you don't you'll just be paying for their kids anyway and again way more exspensive than a $15 pack of pills.
Here are ten benefits which come online within six months of the President's signature on the health care bill. The rest hit in 4 years.
Adult children may remain as dependents on their parents’ policy until their 27th birthday
Children under age 19 may not be excluded for pre-existing conditions
No more lifetime or annual caps on coverage
Free preventative care for all
Adults with pre-existing conditions may buy into a national high-risk pool until the exchanges come online. While these will not be cheap, they’re still better than total exclusion and get some benefit from a wider pool of insureds.
Small businesses will be entitled to a tax credit for 2009 and 2010, which could be as much as 50% of what they pay for employees’ health insurance.
The “donut hole” closes for Medicare patients, making prescription medications more affordable for seniors.
Requirement that all insurers must post their balance sheets on the Internet and fully disclose administrative costs, executive compensation packages, and benefit payments.
Authorizes early funding of community health centers in all 50 states (Bernie Sanders’ amendment). Community health centers provide primary, dental and vision services to people in the community, based on a sliding scale for payment according to ability to pay.
In our community - half-rural and half-suburb -- 50 community health centers will receive funding to provide health and preventive services to people with no access right now. And that's just one benefit. They're all valuable.

OR....people can be responsible for themselves and pay for their own birth control by driving to Walgreens and buying a $5 box of condoms:thumb: Their cheaper than the pills AND the tax payers won't foot the bill

Well a woman does have the power to say not to sex if he doesn't wear the condom. Your grasping. It's the responsibility of both. Who says the woman will go pick up her pills or take them? Why should taxpayers pay for it?
LiberalNation

It's available to all now if you can afford it. You might as well stop paying your health insurance premiums now...your insurance company will be out of business within a couple years. They are all going to close shop when the government turns them into non-profit organizations. If you work at one of these health insurance companies, good luck finding another job.
