Considering the history of the Democrat and Republican Parties,

what do blacks consider when deciding who will represent them?

This is an extremely informative video from a local Sarasota Fl tv show.

I believe that blacks were solid Republicans up until the time of the Great Depression because Lincoln, a Republican, freed them. After the Great Depression, the demographic changed.... supposedly because they felt that FDR helped them. I think, however, that FDR's economic policies actually hurt blacks more.

FDR is the father of socialism in America.

The politics of 'something for nothing'.

Do you think some people gravitate towards that?

Do you think it's possible that politics could be genetic?

Or do you believe that politics is most likely socially engineered?

It's what happens in the fall of a free society like ours. Be it a Republic or a democracy. They people start to vote into power the ones that they think will give them stuff and Take care of them. They hear what they wanna hear and go with it, they just don't realize that when everyone else runs out of money taking care of them, that eventually they're going to be the ones taken from.

anyway
The point I am trying to make is, I acknowledge that there are some whites who want a nanny government/something for nothing system of existance.
but
Isn't it odd that 95% of black Americans support a Democratic Party that won their loyalty with nothing more than promises of a free ride through socialism?

get some reading comprehension going there Hog. I pointed out why they do. Sure, Repubs have done alot to help them... but they chose to hear what they want to hear and would rather be given a fish than taught how to fish. The Dems feed that victim mentality and give them the promises that they are the only ones able to fix it and that is what they deserve.

I think it has a lot to do with how the black "leaders" treat the rare black republican.

They call them oreo's, uncle Tom and sell outs. There have been some down right nasty terms thrown around whenever a black republican is running against a black democrate.

Blacks should be split evenly between the two groups, just like every other racial group in this country, but they aren't. I firmly believe it's because of the abuse they get from other blacks if they voice republican views.

I have tremendous respect for these brave souls because I can relate to them...I too have found truth outside the flock.

Hog, I've checked a lot of your threads, Why do you talk about Blacks so much dude?. I doubt there's much to convince you away from your position but it just seems that you mention libertarianism here and there but your much more concerned about what THEY, blacks and other minority are "like" compared to whites.

I will mention this that i lived in cities with nearly 50 50 minorities to white and the schools didn't burn down, people had jobs, crime wasn't off the scales, whites weren't cowering in terror. And it seems to me that unless you really believe that blacks and Hispanics are of some kind other species that we'd all be better off by promoting freedom ideas that all people can embrace rather than using race as an excuse for why some people do things. There are Blacks of every political stripe and there'd probably be more if blacks thought that republicans and libertarians, frankly, didn't sound like you. Would you want to join a group that thought you where genetically/social engineered to be unable to embrace freedom or do better for yourself? Trying to see past raw prejudice promoted as " the real truth about them" to the freedom ideals wouldn't be to easy or even a desire do you think?

Like I said, I'm sure you won't change you mind any time soon and Maybe I've got your position wrong but that's the vibe i get from your stuff.
just wanted to throw this out there.

just wanted to throw this out there. It is true that I spend alot of time on the subject of minorities, blacks and hispanics mostly.

They present certain problems that most people are forbidden to discuss because of poltical correctness.

I was born and raised in a diverse inner city ghetto and have unique experiances and perspectives in racial matters.

As I said, it is a subject that is avoided by society that I feel must be addressed for the sake of everyone including the minorities.

My beliefs, opinions and concerns are all based on facts and life experiances and have nothing whatsoever to do with skin color, hate or racism.

I would much rather be discussing my beautiful grandchildren, a subject on which I am truely prejudiced, rather than something that offends so many people.

The Democrat Party has always hated blacks. First with slavery, then with segregation, then the KKK, and now with pandering, the Democrats have always denigrated blacks. The Republican Party was successful at wiping out the first three tactics but not successful at this latest one.

Its human nature to support someone who's giving you goodies so blacks now keep the Democrat Party in power. By doing so they are ensuring that they will be second class citizens for generations.

But with 95% of black Americans being such willing political pawns, it is hard to feel pity and sorrow for their plight.

They have traded their dignity and all that America has to offer for the worthless trinketts and beads the Democrat Party buys them with.

It's a culture thing... if you get the children of a generation to believe something, they will pass it along to their children, and their grandchildren, etc....

That's what happened here in this country...

Perhaps, maybe, we are seeing the end of "bigger" government is better mentality.

They hear their parents and grandparents griping about it, alters their worldview and then becomes their perspective (and you know what they say about that) and they gripe about it to their kids and then the pattern continues. etc etc, never getting over things.

of course, that can be anyone, but mostly black imo

Not really true... the Progressives of the 19th century and their beliefs are...

for a good read... I suggest "Liberal Fascism" for a long history of their beliefs

Very true my friend yet in spite of the difficulty we need to find a way to bring our black brothers back home.I agree, but if the Democrat Party accomplishes it's goals, it will be them bringing us "back home" to the new America they have created with the help of the manipulated and easily misled voters who supported them...These include black, hispanic and the 'not too bright' white voters.

I am not suggesting we lock up, kill or take the voting rights away from minorities...I am saying we should control the population growth of minorities by enacting new strict immigration laws...Once the minorities numbers reach voter majority, It will be to late for all of us, regardless of race.

It's curiious though, for instance Nuke's parents are both diehard democrates, and union supporters. But, his brother and sister are both republican.

I think that as the black middle class continues to grow so will their participation in the republican party. Just like every other racial group they should eventually be divided evenly between the parties.

The fact is, minorities don't need us for their political aspirations because while our numbers are stagnant, their's are growing.

How much time do we have untill we encounter a political event horizon?...The point of no return?

Still hoping to reconcile the facts in the OP. Did I miss where Mr. HT backed-up and actually used data for his claim?Surely you must have me confused with some other "Mr. HT".

My opinions are clearly identified as my own and facts I have used to formulate them are backed up.

Although I do admit that sometimes I will repost a fact without including the link again, assuming it has already been shown to be indisputable.

And it is true that there are some things that I, along with many others, consider to be so widely known and accepted that no evidence is neccessary.
