If you could have any kind of car in the world , what kind would you want? My Stepdad likes to collect and restore antique cars but he also likes to race cars, he likes ford mustangs, and model-a and has a 38 rumble seat. He had a saline but sold it. Me I like the Rolls Royce !

A fancy sports car...A fast one.... I've had two cameros and one had ttops... The black one went hrump, hrump, hrump, while sitting at a light....God I love that sound.....However, I will settle for the Corvette convt I'll be getting before I up and croak.......

The Subaru Baja. I don't know why, but I just love the look of it, and it apparently is one of those vehicles that lasts through anything.

I've always wanted a 67 Mustang fastback.
Maybe when I finally kick all the kids out I can afford one. Then I can be one of those old people who drives around my cool sports car and makes all the teenagers jealous.:laugh2:

Sorry bout that,
1. I find the most desireable car the 1963 Roll Royce Silver Cloud.
2. Two tone silver and black.
3. Up keep would be the problem.
4. Otherwise here's my second choice.
5. A 2003 BMW 760Li in silver, and black interior.
6. This beauty has 12 cyls and 438 hp.
7. And all modern gadgets.
8. I used to own a Subaru Baja, it was nice but I ended up trading it for a loss, it drank the gas too.

My husband's father is fascinated with old cars. Always went to classic car shows and such. Always wanted some kind of fancy car, but never could afford.
Now my husband makes enough that he could afford an expensive car. He prefers his 2003 Cavalier. :lmao:

My Step dad also loves the old car shows, and anyway he takes my kids to them when the weathers nice. When I was a kid I remember playing with toy cars sitting in the back of his 38 rumble seat while he worked on another car in the garage. He also likes to races cars in the summer time.

2. Also that Audi R8 is very cool, depends on the year and all but they aint cheap either, 80k would be low side.
3. You have to have some deep pockets to own one of those.:coffee:

Don't have deep pockets yet - but have a plan. :) In a few years, after a couple tours overseas, I might-could be able to put about $50k down...and have 'reasonable' payments on the balance. :)

1. So your are a roadie for a band?
2. Or something else?
3. That Mazda's pretty cool me thinks.
4. I've been kicking around the idea of buying that BMW 760 Li, I posted the picture of.
5. That car sold for 122k when new, and the new isn't even knocked off it yet.
6. I could out lay about 30k and snatch it up.
7. But I'm trying to find away to justify even spending that much on a car.
8. Even thou I love cars, and always have, its hard for me to bite.
9. I have the cash on hand, but still it ain't easy.

Supercharged DOHC 32 valve V8 engine
540HP
6-speed manual transmission
0-60 - 3.9-4.3
1/4 mile - 11.92s @ 120 mph
But it's not just the power, this baby is gorgeous, inside and out!
Or if I had more money I would go for the Super Snake. You can buy the GT500 stock for like 50k but then it would need to be "Shelby-ized" as I say, which means for about another 30k it is shipped to Carol Shelby's plant and you can have a Kenne Bell supercharged engine installed bringing her to over 720hp!

I have never been partial to the nice stuff. I would take a Toyota Landcrusier, Jeep, or lifted up 4 wheel drive pickup truck. The rough and tuff stuff to go play in the mud. If it had to be a nice one, then a 69 corvette. The pictures are nice though Chloe.

I drove up to the cabin last night in the snow about 5 minutes behind a plow truck and when I got near the top the truck was stopped behind 4 or 5 cars that were stuck. I turned off on the side road that was unplowed, changed a dial from AWD to 4WD and took the steep route home. And I've got 47K miles on the tires: Pirelli Scorpio STR M&S.
I wouldn't trade my Expedition for nothin'.

Saw that - what a shame. And thanks! I'm enjoying the new wheels/tires (when the temps are above 40 degrees). Wheels/tire combo is larger than stock - but lighter and grippier. :) Went from OEM 18x7.5 and 22lbs each, to those Enkei's which are 18x9.5 and 17lbs each. Tires went from 225/40/18 to 265/35...about the same weight.
