Woman shoots & kills intruder 911 tape

After calling 911, a 57-year-old Oklahoma woman took actions into her own hands, grabbing her shot gun and killing a man who tried to enter her house. (Dec. 05)

I heard this earlier today...I would of done the exact same thing..

Once again, seconds counted and the police were only minutes away.

You can hear the operator saying "they have got a rush on it. They are on their way." As the window crashed in the background. One of our unarmed, gun hating liberals would have had to stand there and wait for the police to arrive.

Here in California the 911 operator would have been telling her to put the gun down or she would be going to jail.

The operator would have been sending a car to arrest the woman for brandishing a firearm instead of arresting the man for breaking in.

Then there would have been the whole investigation of the gun.
They would have to make sure the barrel wasn't to short, that it was stored properly (which it obviously wasn't in compliance here since she was able to get it out and use it). How close she lived to a school. An environmental impact study to see how much the one shotgun blast contributed to global warming.

She would be alive but broke and incarcerated for using the shotgun to save her life.
